Cyclone Dust Extractors by Dena AFS UK. The separating cyclone is used to carry out the detachment and separation of the solid or liquid particles present in the gaseous flow. Thus introduced using the centrifugal force developed by the vortex motion caused by the gaseous flow itself by the construction geometry of the cyclone itself .
Since the operation of the cyclone is mainly based on the use of centrifugal force, the efficiency of the aforementioned system is strictly connected to the grain size distribution of the treated material. Consequently this reveals its abilities in the treatment of very fine grain sizes.
The cyclone dust extractors can have abatement efficiencies between 85% and 95% and is used for dust with a specific weight over 300 kg/m3 and with fairly coarse particles – over 10 microns for dust with a specific weight over 1000-1500 kg/m3 and over 50 microns for dust with specific weight over 500 kg/m3.
In the CY model cyclone dust extractor – suction systems – thanks to the centrifugal force, the dust particles separate from the gaseous flow to which the rotary motion has been imposed due to the tangential entry onto the body of the cyclone. Centrifugal acceleration acts on particles in the same way as weight, but in a radial direction. The abatement efficiency depends on the peripheral speed of the flow and on the inverse of the radius of curvature. For this reason we try to increase the flow speed and create rotary motions with small curvature. At the same peripheral speed, the increase in the diameter of the cyclone decreases the centrifugal effect and therefore the efficiency, however a speed that is too high increases the pressure losses. The correct sizing is therefore up to the expert designer.
The CY cyclone dust collector is a dust suppression system. with a cylindrical shape in the upper part and a truncated cone in the lower part. Made entirely of 20/10 carbon steel or stainless steel sheet.
Dust suppression systems, pneumatic conveying lines in the wood and panel processing industries, mechanical industries, recycling plants, glass, aggregates, foundries, etc.
Star valve. ATEX explosion vent panel version. Built-in fan. Insulation. Paint resistant to hostile environments. Made with special steels.
The Dena spark separator is an accessory for the extraction system, designed to capture incandescent bodies and sparks and prevent them from reaching the filters. We are well aware of the risk of fire in common extraction systems without a separator installed.
Every metal cutting and welding operation represents a potential risk, which is eliminated thanks to the separator. -Compact design -Installed in line -Collection bin -Zero maintenance.
Ideal for Welding robots, plasma and laser cutting, welding benches, grinding benches, biomass combustion.
